As Baker's Sales Lead, you will work alongside leadership and account teams to support consistent and sustainable growth across Baker’s services. You will have responsibilities to impact both new business development and existing business expansion along with key regional industry involvement. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written & verbal, be highly motivated, able to work under pressure, and manage many details well. 

Sales management, relationship management, time management, and leadership skills are required. The candidate should also enjoy high levels of responsibility, autonomy, and should show an ability for creativity and strategic thinking. 

Responsibilities include:

Leading Baker’s growth engine forward through effective planning and goal-setting

Managing all aspects of the sale from lead development to close and throughout onboarding, including:

  • Driving new business through industry involvement, relationship building, and marketing support
  • Moving leads through the sales funnel
  • Working with account teams to support healthy client expansion
Identifying and communicating growth opportunities for current and potential clients by staying aware of the industry and trends. Driving thought leadership.
Developing a strong understanding of Baker’s position in the market, unique services profile, and approach to patient-centric healthcare marketing

Increasing Baker’s presence regionally through intentional industry involvement which could include but is not limited to:

  • Active engagement in local healthcare professional organizations with monthly attendance, relationship building, and other opportunities.
  • Regional conferences and support of speaking engagements.
  • 1-2 day business trips twice per Quarter and 2 to 3 after-hours events per month.
  • Identifying additional opportunities for participation and growth.
Monitoring sales performance and making adjustments when necessary
Management and optimization of company’s CRM system

This is a full-time position reporting directly to senior leadership. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in sales or business development. Healthcare or marketing experience are a plus but not required. The candidate should also enjoy high levels of responsibility and autonomy and should show an ability for creativity and strategic thinking. Advanced computer proficiency is required.
